About this Event
Baltimore City Safe Babies Case Mapping Session
Join us in person for a two-day session for an opportunity to build, share understanding and collaborate on case mapping for the new Safe Babies Court.
The Baltimore City Safe Babies Court was developed through a partnership between the Family Recovery Program, Inc. and ZERO TO THREE to bring a specialized, collaborative approach to serving infants, toddlers, and families involved in the child welfare system. Rooted in ZERO TO THREE’s national Safe Babies Court Team™ model, the initiative focuses on strengthening families, improving early childhood outcomes, and reducing trauma by coordinating courts, child welfare agencies, and community providers around the needs of young children.
Through this approach, Baltimore City Safe Babies Court emphasizes timely access to services, frequent judicial oversight, and team-based support to help families safely reunify and achieve permanency more quickly, while promoting the healthy development and well-being of children ages 0–3.
This two-day session will provide an opportunity for partners to come together, build shared understanding, and collaborate on case mapping in preparation for the launch of the new Safe Babies Court, ensuring alignment across systems and a strong, coordinated start for families and children served.
