Discover the new Baltic sound in the heart of NYC—indie, jazz, and folk in one intimate night.
About this Event

Join us for a special evening celebrating the new sound of the Baltic region in NYC—where indie, jazz, and folk traditions meet contemporary global music culture.

Hosted at the historic New York Estonian House, Baltics NOW brings together three internationally acclaimed artists from Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania for a one-night-only concert showcase in New York City.

We're also celebrating and highlighting the 2026 Year of the Kanklės, Lithuanian indigenious instrument. A small collection of kanklés instruments will be on display with short pre-show history presentation.

Lineup

NOËP
An internationally touring Estonian indie/electronic pop artist whose releases have surpassed 98 million streams on Spotify, NOËP delivers a dynamic live set blending electronic production, guitar, and vocals. Known for his crossover collaborations with Baltic folk artists such as Puuluup and Duo Ruut, his sound bridges modern indie with regional roots.

Arta Jēkabsone
A New York–based Latvian jazz vocalist and winner of the Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition, Arta brings a fresh and expressive voice to contemporary jazz, blending storytelling, improvisation, and Baltic musical sensibility.

Simona Smirnova
A Lithuanian vocalist, composer, and kanklės player, Simona creates a unique sonic world where traditional Baltic folk meets modern jazz. Her performances introduce audiences to the rich textures of Baltic heritage through a contemporary lens.

About the Event

Baltics NOW is a curated concert experience highlighting the emerging Baltic music movement and New York’s role as a global cultural crossroads.
