We’ll meet for coffee at McDonald’s Deer Park at 10:00am, then head off at 10:20am to the Ballarat Tramway Museum. Located in the Ballarat Botanic Gardens by Lake Wendouree, this award-winning, interactive museum features a collection of historic trams running along a 3.2 km track. You can explore the museum building, which houses several tramcars—including Horse Tram No. 1 from 1887—and enjoy exhibitions, activities, and a tram ride included with entry.
Afterwards, we’ll make our way to Victoria’s last all-you-can-eat Pizza Hut buffet (31 Victoria St, Bakery Hill) to enjoy pizza, pasta, salads, desserts, and soft drinks for $29.21 per person.
