On December 17, 2025, the University of the Philippines System will once again be illuminated by creative, community-made lanterns and costumes during the annual Lantern Parade, a tradition that brings the community together in creativity, unity, and celebration. Following the success of our annual Balik Lantern Parade, the UP Office of Alumni Relations (OAR) is once again organizing the 2025 Balik Lantern Parade and Alumni Year-End Salu-salo, carrying the theme, “Mga Mukha at Kuwento ng UP”.
We invite UP alumni from all campuses to join the official alumni contingent in this year’s parade. Alumni are encouraged to participate by coming in costume, dressed as iconic UP personalities, symbols, campus figures, or everyday scenes that reflect the diverse identities and stories of the UP community.
