Balena's Open Stage!

Balena Canto is home for The HoliGAYS! That's right, Philly's song wielding siren with a voice snatched for the gods returns to her favorite Philly establishment, Tattooed Mom for another festive, sexy, fun, silly, and queer af romp!
Since it's the season of giving, Balena has decided to present her very first OPEN STAGE SHOW!
An open stage show features amateur/newer nightlife performers who often times lack a stage or audience to perform on/for. It is a wonderful oppurtunity for our up-and-coming drag, burlesque, and nightlife artists to showcase their talents and to practice their artistry in a warm, inviting, and chill atmosphere! It's also a super special way for YOU THE AUDIENCE to help cheer-on, support, see, hear, and experience the next generation of Philly nightlife artists!

While the primary focus of our show is growth/learning, there will indeed be a competition element (to spice things up for y'all). DJ Brettzo, Allison (Kitten/Door), and Balena (Host) will collectively choose one winner at the end of the evening. That performer will receive:

1) A future paid booking

2) A T-moms prize pack

3) A cash prize (amount determined by ticket sales, wink wink)

ALSO, you, the audience will also be given the chance to take the stage for a dance-off extravaganza where one lucky winner will take home an EXTRA SPECIAL PRIZE!
LASTLY, it is IMPERATIVE that we as a community uplift our local nightlife performers/queer artists (especially during these uncertain/difficult times). So please turn out, turn up, & CELEBRATE Philly's PHreshest and PHinest!

VIP TIX (guaranteed front row seating) are available at the $25 level.
We suggest purchasing tickets online to ensure admission should we sell out, but tickets will also be avaialble at the door (baring availability). We accept cash, Venmo, or Cash App.
