About this Event
Every year on Lake Coeur d'Alene, the bald eagles come to feast on Kokanee salmon. This congregation is one of the best places in Northern Idaho to witness eagles in great numbers.
The abundance of eagles and salmon combine for an exhilarating experience you won't forget. You'll have repeated opportunities to make images of eagles diving and soaring above you to the conifers nearby where they help to spread nutrients into the forest as they feast on salmon.
With a group sized no larger than 10 photographers, you will have access to two instructors who are ready to help you along on your photography journey.??
After a rewarding morning, those who would like, can head into town to warm up and share lunch together. Feel free to bring your laptops for a relaxed image review. This will be a good time for critiques and an opportunity for you to ask your photo processing questions!
