This workshop, guided by our current 300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Class, will focus on self care practices and techniques to help you explore ways to create balance in a topsy turvy and ever changing world. Beginning with a self assessment to help you determine how much or how little self care is in your daily life, our guides will offer a gentle breath practice followed by a nurturing and gentle movement practice focused on helping the body release stress and tension. Our guides will then offer helpful tips and practices grounded in Ayurvedic principles that can be integrated into a self care routine or ritual that will nourish the physical body and spiritual self. Finally, we will conclude our workshop with a discussion on caring for the body through diet and drink, also inspired by Ayurvedic approaches, with samples to try, and recipes for you to adapt to help with the inflammation of the gut and joints in an effort to provide self care from the inside out. This workshop is a gift to our community from these lovely guides as they seek to deepen their own connection with community and yogic practices. Dress comfortably as we will be gently moving. Feel free to bring your own props or use any props we have in our space so that you are comfortable. Spaces are limited so please reserve your spot.
