Are you working in forensic mental health or interested in forensic practice? This new, in-person course offers a unique opportunity to explore the complex balance between individual rights and public protection across the forensic pathway — from high secure care to community settings.

Morning presentations followed by interactive group work and exercises
Explore key themes including:
- The forensic pathway from high secure care to the community
- How we work in a rights-based way whilst having a focus on public protection
- Bias and unconscious bias in practice
- Examining our stance as practitioners, our value base, courage, compassion and how we retain these in complex situations
- How system-level dynamics shape decision-making around rights and restrictions

Open to any practitioner working in or interested in forensic practice. No prerequisites required. Limited places available!
