About this Event
Can you imagine serving your very own handmade croissants and pain au chocolate? Well, now you can join us and make them to take home with you at the end of the class.
Wiki describes croissants as:
Buttery, flaky, viennoiserie pastry of Austrian origin, but mostly associated with France. Croissants are named for its historical crescent shape and, like other viennoiserie, are made of a layered yeast-leavened dough. The dough is layered with butter, rolled and folded several times in succession, then rolled into a thin sheet, in a technique called laminating. The process results in a layered, flaky texture, similar to a puff pastry.
Filled with chocolate they become every child's favourite pain au chocolate!
We'll also be doing a demo of another viennese treat, the viennese biscuit!
