Learn how to create beautiful lino prints with Kirsty Hall who will introduce you to this enjoyable printing process. You will begin with an introduction to the equipment and you will learn the techniques needed to carve, ink and print a simple lino block. You will be encouraged to explore your own ideas for your design or you can take inspiration from source material provided. You do not need to be confident with drawing to achieve great results with lino! You will explore printing in a range of colours and you will take home a variety of prints.The course is suitable for complete beginners and all you need to bring is an apron.
This is a great workshop to do with friends or on your own for a chilled afternoon. Helping you gain knowledge and skills in a relaxed, fun and welcoming atmosphere. At the end you will have a lovely lino print to hang in your home.
