Bake Together @ Jessi's Café
Jessi's Café Miteinander is a new, once-weekly café held at the House of Sustainability in Neu-Ulm. Food has the power to connect people, and we want everyone to feel welcome, no matter your background or baking experience. We would love to make the café a place where Ulm's internationality can be showcased, perhaps through your home cuisine!
The afternoon will begin with everyone gathering for a warm welcome and a quick introduction to the recipe of the day. We will then bake together as a group, and while our treats are in the oven, we invite everyone to share a favorite food story, memory, or simply chat and get to know each other better. Once the baking is done, we will sit down to enjoy what we made together, sharing laughs and new friendships around the table.
This event is part of a master’s research project exploring how social activities can foster connection among international participants. There will be a short group discussion, and participation is voluntary.
