Hello everyone,We’re delighted to announce the return of our Annual Christmas Bake Sale! This year’s event will take place on Saturday 13th December, alongside our regular maintenance session at the hut.
🎄 We need your support!
We’ll be setting up stalls on the side of the railway crossing to sell festive cakes and sweets to passers-by. It’s our most successful fundraiser of the year—but it only works with your help!
We’re looking for:
Donations of baked goods—items that can be individually wrapped (like shortbread, gingerbread, brownies, fudge, or truffles) tend to sell best.
Volunteers on the day—even half an hour makes a difference, and children in festive hats are always a hit!
The sale will run from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM, and we’d love to see as many of you as possible.
🛠 Not into baking?
No problem! We’ll also be tackling some hut maintenance at the same time. Jobs include:
Sweeping leaves
Cleaning and painting
Electrical work
General repairs
There’s something for everyone, so if you’re willing to lend a hand, we’ll find the right task for you.
