Bad Art Saves My LifeHead High Second Floor proudly presents “Bad Art Saves My Life” by Tear Factory Boy, an exhibition showcasing art as a result of struggling against disappointment and jealousy in the creative industries. These artworks are created as tools to cope with the suffering of heart and mind, not through grand concepts or skills, but simply through humor and unconventional thinking in the workplace that brings a faint smile and temporary solace from sadness. But when these works are arranged together, they surprisingly become a representation of people in the present era.
Bad Art Saves My Life is divided into three integrated exhibition rooms. The first, "The Money Face," tells the story of the heyday of selling NFTs (Non-Fungible Token) art, depicting buyers and sellers in the art market who overlook taste and focus only on monetary value and profit. The artist places currency sign on the faces of people in various professional uniforms. The second, "Room full of memes," reproduces popular memes as paintings, documenting the cultural history of humor shared globally to escape suffering in daily life. The last part, "Not Ready Readymade" brings everyday objects and put texts of poems, quotes, or jokes on them, in order to reflect the artist's attempt to heal the sadness caused by contemporary life by looking for a humorous perspective.
Bad Art Saves My Life is on display at Head High Second Floor, Chiang Mai, from February 28th to 10 April 2026, with an opening ceremony on Saturday evening, February 28th.

Head High Second Floor ภูมิใจเสนอ Bad Art Saves My Life โดย หนุ่มโรงงานน้ำตา นิทรรศการที่นำเสนอศิลปะในฐานะการต่อสู้กับความผิดหวังและอิจฉาของคนในวงการอุตสาหกรรมสร้างสรรค์ โดยผลงานถูกสร้างขึ้นเป็นเครื่องมือเพื่อรับมือต่อความทุกข์ทรมานที่กัดกินในใจ ไม่ได้ใช้แนวคิดหรือทักษะที่ยิ่งใหญ่ แต่เป็นเพียงอารมณ์ขันและการคิดนอกกรอบตรรกะในชีวิตการทำงานที่ทำให้เกิดรอยยิ้มจางๆ และลืมความเศร้าได้ชั่วครั้งชั่วคราว แต่เมื่อร้อยเรียงผลงานเหล่านี้มานำเสนอร่วมกันก็สามารถเป็นภาพแทนของผู้คนในยุคสมัยปัจจุบันได้อย่างน่าประหลาด
Bad Art Saves My Life แบ่งเป็นสามห้องนิทรรศการที่มีความหมายเชื่อมโยงกัน ส่วนแรก The Money Face ที่เล่าถึงยุครุ่งเรืองของการขายคาแลคเตอร์ในรูปแบบ NFT ซึ่งถูกยกมาเล่าถึงผู้ซื้อขายในตลาดศิลปะที่มองข้ามรสนิยมและหันมาสนใจเพียงมูลค่าและกำไรทางธุรกิจ โดยศิลปินใส่อักษรย่อสกุลเงินลงบนใบหน้าผู้คนในเครื่องแบบอาชีพต่างๆ ส่วนที่สอง Room full of memes ที่นำมีมยอดนิยมมาผลิตซ้ำเป็นจิตรกรรม ในฐานะการบันทึกประวัติทางวัฒนธรรมอารมณ์ขันที่ผู้คนทั่วโลกช่วยแบ่งปันกันเพื่อผ่อนคลายความทุกข์ และส่วนสุดท้าย Not Ready Readymade ซึ่งศิลปินนำข้าวของเครื่องใช้ในชีวิตประจำวัน มาใส่ตัวอักษรในรูปแบบบทกวี คำคม หรือมุขตลก สะท้อนความพยายามที่ศิลปินอยากเยียวยาความทุกข์ที่ได้รับจากวิถีชีวิตปัจจุบัน ด้วยการมองหาแง่มุมที่ชวนให้หัวเราะได้
Bad Art Saves My Life จัดแสดงที่ Head High Second Floor เชียงใหม่ ตั้งแต่วันที่ 28 กุมภาพันธ์ จนถึง 10 เมษายน 2026 โดยมีพิธีเปิดในเย็นวันเสาร์ที่ 28 กุมภาพันธ์นี้

Tear Factory Boy (Voravuj Sujjaporamest) is a poet who explores the possibility of storytelling by entering visual art territory. He turns the bittersweetness and surrealism in written language into multidisciplinary presentation. Tear Factory Boy has engaged in narrative of urban living and its loneliness, jealousy and depression. Moreover he has experience of being gallery owner (VS Gallery), art dealer and freelance curator for 8 years, focusing on sociopolitical and gender equality issues.
