McKayla’s voice is as clear as a mountain stream. Her eclectic song choices and original interpretations are surprising and sometimes haunting. Her fingerpicking-based guitar styling is interesting and fully supports the duo. Michael Beck’s percussion goes well beyond holding a beat and lends a musicality of its own. His occasional vocal harmonies add another texture.
