Composting Education Workshop Series: Vermiculture Composting
This workshop is one of four hands-on composting classes focused on different composting systems: vermicomposting, bokashi, hot composting, and cold composting. This session takes a deeper dive into vermiculture, an indoor-friendly method using worms to recycle food scraps into nutrient-rich compost.
Participants will learn what vermiculture is, how the system works, and how it differs from other composting methods. Through guided instruction and hands-on learning, you’ll explore the full vermiculture process—from setup to use—while building realistic expectations for how it can work in your own home to divert food scraps and organic waste from the landfill.
