Bring more biodiversity and more habitat for bees and birds to Iowa City with native plants!Native shrubs are more resilient to the impacts of climate change like soil erosion, drought or flooding, and return year after year. These plants also provide food and shelter for birds, butterflies, native bees and other pollinators better than nonnative plants. Add some shrubs to your yard this spring!
Plant pick-up: 2-6 PM | Friday, April 17, 2026 | Eastdale Plaza, Iowa City
**Participation is open to Iowa City households. Limit one registration per household.**
