About this Event
Join us for our fifth annual event in support of Peninsula Distance Club and our mission of developing aspiring endurance athletes.
We’ll mingle and nosh under the setting sun before being treated to a conversation with not one, but two special guests: sisters Bella Whittaker, the current American Record holder in the indoor 400m, and the lead-off leg for the 2025 World Champion 4x400m relay team, and Juliette Whittaker, a 2024 Olympic 800m finalist and 3 x NCAA Champion while at Stanford. Hear from two of our brightest track and field stars heading into 2028 and all about their track and field journey, including the experience of both traveling to the Paris Olympics as part of Team USA. Local long-time news anchor Mary Babbitt Hammers will again moderate.
Meet team members, have some fun with fellow running enthusiasts, and support a local non-profit organization in its 19th year of developing post-collegiate middle and long distance athletes.
