The 97X WOXY-FM signal that emanated from its unassuming station just outside of Oxford, Ohio from 1983 to 2004 might have been weak in geographic terms, but in terms of its place in the birth of alternative rock and roll, it was colossal. Join in on our panel discussion with former 97X DJs and station personnel as they reminisce on and evoke the electric atmosphere that permeated "The Future of Rock and Roll" and that led to the creation of a generation of rabid and loyal listeners.The event includes a panel discussion for former 97X on air personalities moderated by station manager and DJ Steve "The Baker Man" Baker. Following the discussion, we'll roll out the red carpet for the audience and invite you to participate in an open Q&A session.
