About this Event
Class is in session at our Back to School Quilt Retreat, but don’t worry—there are no tests here! Instead, your report card will be filled with A’s for Appliqué, Accuracy, and Accomplishment. Bring your unfinished projects, your favorite fabrics, and settle in for days of relaxed sewing, laughter, and friendship. Work at your own pace while cheering each other on as UFOs move from “needs improvement” to “excellent progress.”
Three optional workshops will also be offered for those who’d like to learn something new or sharpen their quilting skills. The only homework you’ll have is deciding which project to work on next.
Extra credit is awarded for laughter, finished blocks, and maybe even completing a quilt or two!

We also provide cutting/ironing tables, and power strips and small side tables.
Sewing Machines -
- Feel free to bring your own machine (and all cords!).
- Alternatively, reserve one of our machines for the duration of your stay, free of charge.
- If you need a rental machine, please indicate this on your registration form.
We know things happen, but if for some reason you need to cancel after you have booked your reservation, please let us know as soon as possible. The retreat is only fully refundable 60 days in advance of the start date. In the event that you are past the 60-day notice and are unable to attend, you may transfer your reservation to someone else or move to another retreat at a later date.
If you need to cancel or have further questions, please email us at [email protected] or call us at (816) 265-1812.
