About this Event
Join us on Wednesday, 27th May 2026 at 9:30AM BST at Clockwise Liverpool for a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow professionals, expand your network, and get a proper introduction to the AI tool that's quietly becoming a staple in small business toolkits.
An Intro to Claude.ai for Busy People
Most people are still using AI like a slightly clever search bar. Type a question, get an answer, copy and paste, move on.
That's fine. But it's also the smallest, slowest version of what these tools can actually do. If you've poked at ChatGPT, Copilot or Gemini and walked away thinking "is that it?", this session is for you.
The Practical Tour You've Been Looking For
In this hands-on workshop, Alex will introduce you to Claude, Anthropic's AI assistant, and walk you through the features that turn it from a chat window into something genuinely useful for a small or mid-sized business. No jargon, no shiny demos, no "in five years AI will…" speculation. Just a clear, plain-English tour of what's actually there and how to use it.
You'll walk away knowing:
- How to connect Claude to the tools you already use (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Notion) so it works with your real data, not generic answers
- What "Skills" are, and how to set them up so you stop re-explaining the same context every week
- How "Artifacts" turn one-off chats into reusable dashboards, trackers and one-pagers you can come back to
- Where Cowork, Plugins and Claude Design fit in, and which to reach for first
- A handful of small, concrete ideas you can try that same afternoon
No Background Required
This isn't a session for AI experts or developers. It's for the people who've heard a lot about AI, fancy giving it a proper go, and would like a friendly walk-through from someone who does this for a living.
Whether you're a solo operator, a founder running lean, or just the person in your team who's been told to "look into this AI thing", you'll leave with a much clearer picture of what's possible and a few practical things to try first.
Wednesday 27th May, 09:30 to 11:30 Location: Clockwise Liverpool
Who Should Attend: Business owners, ops leads, and anyone curious about how AI fits into their work day (no technical background required)
Led by Alex Keyter, Founder of Generative Minds
Alex is the founder of Generative Minds, an AI adoption consultancy helping small and mid-sized organisations get to grips with tools like Claude, Copilot and Gemini. With an MSc in Data Science & AI, a software development background, and a sessional MBA lecturing role at LJMU, Alex sits at the intersection of the technology and the people side of AI adoption. He's on a mission to make sure nobody gets left behind in the age of AI.
Curious about Claude? Come along. Register now.
There is also the opportunity for complimentary hot-desking at Clockwise Liverpool following the event, until 5pm.
