Join us Saturday morning for a fun and healthy paddle hosted by our admin Ivon.
We will have a free SUP 101 paddle basics lesson and refresher course at 9:00 AM led by Daniel Collins, followed by the Fitness Paddle at 10:00 AM. This is perfect for beginners, anyone who has not paddled in a while, or anyone who wants a little extra confidence before joining the group.
The great part is the SUP 101 group can roll right into the fitness paddle with everyone after the lesson.
Please arrive 1 hour early so you have time to get your board pumped up and ready. Do not worry if you do not know how to set it up. Come find me and I will show you how to connect the pump to your board and help get you ready.
During the free lesson we will go over:
Safety
Turning
Stopping
Basic maneuvers
This is not a race. This paddle is about fitness, health, and enjoying time on the water at a chill fun pace. You should be able to chat and paddle, keep moving, and have a great time with the group.
Family friendly and open to all levels.
If you cannot swim, please wear your safety vest.
Come early, learn the basics, and then join Ivon and the crew for a fun Saturday fitness paddle on Lake Woodlands 💙
