Leave the city behind and step into another world!

We’re heading to Hévíz — a land where ancient paths Roman ruins and warm waters come together for a day of slow discovery.

Prepare your backpack and your curiosity — this is not just a spa trip but a little adventure filled with hidden secrets.

Program:

Meet and greet at the Budapest Népliget bus station

Travel together to Hévíz (approx. 2 h 30 m)

Start the day by walking along the ancient winery road where the traces of the Romans are still visibile

Stop by the old tombs and enjoy the views while learning about the area’s secrets

Visit the local producers’ market — full of handmade goods local cheese honey and the scent of fresh herbs

We’ll take a short geo walk to the thermal park where small streams run through the area and you can spot steam rising from the earth

Finally it’s time to relax in the warm lake — the heart of Hévíz around 30°C whose mineral waters soothe muscles and relax the mind.

Return together to Budapest in the evening refreshed and smiling

The walking part is gentle and easy (max 7 KM with enough rest) perfect for anyone who enjoys slow exploration and local stories.
