About this Event
You are invited to Back Talk: A Poetry Showcase. Back Talk is a spoken word poetry program run by Canvas Programs. The program is a writing space for queer and questioning youth to write and share their stories. This showcase features amazing artists, lived experience, deeply moving poetry from the program, and an open mic for community.
Come spend an evening full of storytelling with us. RSVP below so we know how many wonderful community members to expect. Everyone is welcome, even without an RSVP.
Doors open at 6pm. Show is 6:30-8pm.
This program is in partnership with Friends of Ruby, and is funded by the Kindred Foundation, TD Bank and The Ontario Arts Council.
