The introduction of solid foods is a window of opportunity to grow a healthy nutritional foundation for your baby. This is also a very vulnerable period for parents, as many questions, methods and opinions arise. When and how do I introduce solids? What are the advantages of purees? Why choose for ‘baby led weaning’ (Rapley-method)? What and how much should my baby eat? And what about allergies, gut health and introduction schedules? In this interactive talk, registered dietitian Sofie De Niet will teach you all about the introduction of solids for your baby. She will give both, theoretical and practical information, as well as parent-proof advice.
The talk is suitable for parents who will start introducing solids in the near future, as well as newborn or future parents who like to be prepared well in advance. If you already started with solids, but you still have questions (for example about your child’s intake), you are also very welcome.
