About this Event
Baby-Wearing Dance, led by Michael Sazonov, is a place where parents and their babies can enjoy timeless tunes and good grooves in a fun, feel good, and creative environment. Designed for baby-wearing new parents and their babies (0-8 months), these 30-minute dance sessions are the perfect way to move your body and connect with your baby, spark more joy into your day, and create community through joy and creative self-expression.
About Michael: After walking some 200 baby-carrying miles, and swaying to countless hours of music, since his little one was born, Michael invites you to come as you are, enjoy the time to take a ride through a heartfelt and joy-full exploration of music and movement. All in the pursuit of proud and pleasurable parenthood. All caregivers and their littlest ones are welcome! Giving birth is a powerful experience, and allowing for adaptations, seated or otherwise, will be taken into consideration, cared for, and celebrated.
The drop-in classes are $7 and are at 11 AM on Thursdays, June 4 to 25.

Michael Vitaly Sazonov is a teaching artist, performer, and theatre-maker who utilizes movement, music, and words to create theatre with a social impact. Michael creates a space where we can be ourselves and find joy through new perspectives. His classes foster a safe and creative environment for all participants, no matter their skill level, because they are rooted in a sense of play and exploration.
