About this Event
New parent information sessions on care of infant, covering – Baby’s sleep routine, Breastfeeding, Foods in the first year, Postpartum strengthening, Infant first aid, and introduction to ongoing supports.
Session 1- Baby’s Sleep Routine – a holistic information session on children’s sleep rhythms and sleep needs. With Rebekkah Achenbach
Session 2 - Breastfeeding - Information session to new parents on breastfeeding and supports
Session 3 - Postpartum strengthening – guidance through movement and exercises to strengthen pelvic muscles. With Melissa Miller from Rawology
Session 4 - Infant First Aid - a information session on first aid to help a baby or child in an emergency. With Gail Smail from Smails Swim School.
Session 5 - Food in the First year & ongoing supports - information session on foods for infants in the first year and ongoing supports through GBNC Early Years programs, playgroups and other services.
At each session enjoy a cuppa and morning tea, and a chat with new friends and parents.
Child care is also available.
