BABs return to Pendine Sands on 27 April 2026 to mark the centenary of Sir J.G. Parry-Thomas’ world land speed record, set right here on the sands in 1926. This special anniversary celebrates Pendine’s place in motoring history, when Parry-Thomas and his legendary car Babs helped put the village on the world stage.
Expect a thrilling day steeped in heritage, engineering, and nostalgia as we honour one of the most iconic moments in British motorsport history.
Event times will be confirmed closer to the date, and everyone is warmly welcome to attend.
For safety reasons, please follow all instructions given by event marshals and do not cross safety barriers, as this is essential to allow BABs to operate safely and ensure the event can go ahead.
