About this Event
Description: With it’s soft texture and rich swirls of chocolate and cinnamon, it’s no wonder this Eastern European sweet bread is a most revered treat. With a little patience and know-how, you’ll be enjoying a fresh loaf of Babka before you know it.
What You’ll Learn: Together we’ll make a classic Babka loaf from start to finish; dough, filling, shaping, and baking. With each step, we’ll discuss the food science behind it, and various stages of dough fermentation. Finally, you’ll make a mini Babka to take home, using our classic filling or getting creative with some other sweet and savory options.
Our Mission: Let our cooking classes inspire you. Work with our chef/instructor to learn how to prepare delicious recipes, hone essential techniques, and put some "heart" back into cooking. All levels of experience welcome! We offer private classes, private parties, and a bounty of niche gourmet food and beverage products! Contact regina@[email protected] for all private parties/class inquiries.
