This year we've mapped out an excursion with spectacular views and low key gravel roads suitable for all levels of overlanding vehicles and driver skill. Our offroad destination is Dolly Sods Wilderness in the Monongahela National Forest. We will then go to Blackwater Falls State Park for some sightseeing followed by lunch at The Smokehouse at Blackwater Falls. After lunch there will be a group doing a more advanced trail run at Canaan Loop Road. This will be for experienced drivers in prepped AWD/4x4 rigs with at least 10" of ground clearance and underbody protection. This trail also has a high likelihood of brush hanging into the trail so "pinstriping" is possible. Find a link to more info at the bottom of this page.
