Azurite-Con is running an Alternative Japanese Fashion Market!
Situated in the heart of Newtown, Sydney's alternative fashion scene, this two day event celebrates creativity, individuality and alternative Japanese fashion culture. We are proud to be hosting this event at the Inner West Pride Centre, a friendly and safe space for LGBTIQA+ people.

Event Details:
Alternative Japanese Fashion Market (Saturday 10am-5pm, Sunday 10am-4pm)
This ticket provides you with access to our Alternative Japanese Fashion Market! Browse through the stalls, clothing and accessories of 25+ local makers and passionate members from the J-Fashion communities across Sydney which have all been curated for this special event.
- There will be a mirror available and access to genderless toilets.
- Attendees can also join our free activity tables! Make rainbow bracelets, chat with friends and colouring sheets will be available, all of which are included in the cost of your ticket.

Kawaii Junk Journalling Session & Late Night Shopping (Saturday, 5:30pm-7:30pm)
This ticket provides you with access to our Kawaii Junk Journalling session! Have a cosy session junk journalling with other participants and some late night shopping with some of our favourite artists! Each participant will be given the following:
- Kawaii junk journalling kit
- Delicious snack and drink
- Access to other materials on the day such as glue, scissors, washi tape etc
- 2 hours of fun journalling and late night alternative fashion shopping
- You are also welcome to bring your own junk journal and materials!
A number of selected artists vending at the event will also be coming along to sell at this session, so you can sit and chat, make friends, do some junk journalling and shop from your favourite artists and alternative fashion community stalls!
Please note: we are unable to run the free actiity tables during this session. Unfortunately, due to venue restrictions, the Kawaii Junk Journalling is located in an area which is not accessible. Participants must be able to walk up a few steps to the stage to access the tables for this activity.
Other Ticket Details
- Ticket Sales on Eventbrite (online sales) ends Thursday, 16 April 26
- Market Entry: $8 + booking fees (online), $10 on the day + card fees
- Kawaii Junk Journalling Session: $40 + booking fee (includes kawaii junk journalling kit, snack and drink, additional materials for junk journalling, and market entry included for Saturday only)
- Kids aged 12 years or under - $4 (pay on day only)
- Saturday 5:30pm-7:30pm market entry - $4 (pay on day only) - shopping only (kawaii junk journalling session not included) - ticket sales will end at 6:30pm.
Tickets are non-refundable unless there is a major change such as date or location change, or cancellation in the event.
Please note that we are not offering timed tickets, giving you the flexibility to decide when you would like to attend the market. Due to this, there may be some waiting times to enter the venue during particularly busy periods, so we ask for your patience if we need to limit the number of attendees in the facility to ensure that we have a fun and safe event.
