Known as one of the sharpest lyricists in Hip-Hop, AZ first caught the world’s attention with his flawless verse on Nas’ Illmatic classic “Life’s a Bitch.” A year later, he dropped his debut Doe or Die — an album that cemented his status with street narratives, lyrical finesse, and timeless production.
From being a founding member of The Firm (alongside Nas, Foxy Brown & Nature) to delivering countless solo gems, AZ’s name is forever etched in Hip-Hop history.
