Ayurveda, the science of life, a holistic practice and application of the 5 elements and our relationship with the 5 senses as medicine is an original holistic practice that reminds us to turn back to our inherent, intelligent nature for accessing remediation.
Diet, related to the sensory organ of taste, is 1 of 5 senses that need to be in right relationship with our lives as to live in optimal health, as the body is the terrain of our consciousnsess.
We are affected by what we eat, and the feedback will come in our lives by how we digest all experiences.
Learn to understand what foods, drinks and herbs work most harmoniously with each constitution, how to digest food and all experiences well, how to food combine, the different tastes or "rasas" for sasiation, and create an atmosphere for assimulation and elimination of toxins in the body daily so that you feel invigorated with your food as medicine, as well as craving what is good for you.
We will also address:
Constitution combinations
Eating in and being in Season
Assessing personal Ayurveda consultation
This 8 hour course is open to anyone, and is an ongoing part 3 course for those seeking ceritfication.
If you have no experience with Ayurveda, I will first send you a consultation form so that you can become aquainted with it more fully.
