This hands-on workshop will introduce participants to the principles and practices of Ayurvedic & Sattvik cooking, which focuses on nutritious, pure, and holistic foods. The session will include a cooking demonstration as well as a cook-along recipe. Participants will learn about the benefits of Sattvik foods, the philosophy behind it, and practical cooking techniques to create delicious, wholesome meals.

Meet Your Head Chef & Teacher Bhumika!
Bhumika is a US Army veteran who is pursuing a chaplaincy role in the Washington National Guard. Bhumika's academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Divinity.
In addition to her chaplaincy pursuits, Bhumika holds a Certificate in Ayurvedic cooking. Ayurveda is a traditional Indian system of medicine that emphasizes a holistic approach to health and well-being, including dietary practices. Bhumika actively promotes a healthy and holistic lifestyle, which aligns with the principles of Ayurvedic nutrition and cooking.
