About this Event
Camp participants will get a blend of hands-on and community exploration as they learn about various STEAM areas from digital design to media arts to culinary arts. Campers learn from industry experts, instructors and even high school youth counselors in a safe learning environment.

Arrival & Breakfast
Info: Breakfast is light. If your camper is a hearty eater, they should eat something before they come.

Opening & Team-building
Info: Campers learn the skill to work together while having fun. Team-building is led by youth counselors.
🕑: 09:00 AM - 11:30 AM
STEAM Time
Info: This is the typical time we focus on the STEAM theme for the week. Instructors teach STEAM concepts or invite in industry professionals to teach campers about their career fields.
🕑: 11:30 AM - 01:00 PM
Outdoor Time, Lunch, and Game & Screen Time
Info: Campers go outside for "air time" or structured activities. They will have a warm lunch and come in to transition to math or literacy tasks led by HS Youth Counselors. We allow 15-20 minutes of screen time during this segment as well for a brain break.
🕑: 01:00 PM - 01:30 PM
Math or Literacy Practice
Info: HS Youth counselors will lead a math or literacy activity to keep campers' brains sharp. This activity is generally connected to the STEAM focus for the week.
🕑: 01:30 PM - 02:30 PM
Outdoor fitness with math integration
Info: This time is filled with outdoor structured fitness activities with math interspersed in a fun way.
🕑: 02:30 PM - 03:30 PM
STEAM Team-Time
Info: Campers work with their team to finish their project for the week.
🕑: 03:30 PM - 04:45 PM
Clean-up & Aftercare
Info: Campers cleanup and organize their area then go out for more fun. This time also affords campers the chance to learn board games, card games or just have plain fun competing.
