Young people are growing up with increasingly frequent climate disasters disrupting our lives. We’re facing a rising cost of living and an uncertain future. The system is broken. But we also have a fast growing movement of young people, all over the world, who’re determined to fight for a fairer and more just future.

Open to young people between the ages of 12 - 30.
Training weekends are a launchpad for your climate action journey, whether you have some experience in taking action, or are brand new - every young person is invited, and we’re all needed. This is your chance to take the next step for climate justice & level up your skills at the same time.

Our big, bold 2-day training camp is like no-other. We’re focussed on action - we’ll learn from each other and campaign experts on how to win on the big things. We’ll have workshops, panel discussions on campaign skills, leadership development, tactic training.

You’ll walk away with a clear plan about how YOU and your community can make a difference. You’ll build long-lasting friendships with people who care as much as you do, making us stronger in the fight for a safe climate future.

“The AYCC Training weekend was great for learning how to get involved in climate justice and meet people also new to the group. The facilitators' energy and positivity was very motivating (thank you!) and I liked the range of activities, choice and structure.”
“The training was a great experience of meeting young people and listening to their stories and experiences as climate activists. It was also very informative on AYCC principles and campaigns, I learned a lot about First Nations justice and the Beetaloo fracking.”
“The event was great as it helped me gain more knowledge about climate change and how I can take these experiences back to my community. I loved how inclusive the event was and how it made me feel welcome and able to ask questions.”
