The Axtell Oratorio Society presents George Frideric Handel's Messiah at the Merryman in Kearney on Palm Sunday, March 29 at 7 p.m.The Axtell Area Oratorio Society presents a live 60-member chorus, chamber orchestra, and soloists in a timeless concert composed in 1741 by G.F. Handel as a three-part dramatic musical narrative that tells the story of Jesus' life from birth to resurrection. The entire text is based on Bible verses from the Old and New Testaments.
