What Is Awareness Camp?
A FREE 1 Full day outdoor adventure for elementary youth who don’t normally get access to
Scouting-style experiences.
Campers enjoy:
BB Guns Kayaking Fishing Rocket Launches
…and tons more hands-on outdoor fun!
Volunteers work shoulder-to-shoulder with youth, helping them build confidence, communication, teamwork skills, and unforgettable memories.
More importantly, they build:
Confidence
Teamwork skills
Communication
Positive connections with role models
How YOU Can Help
It takes a community to make this happen—and we need you!
You can:
Lead or support program stations (BB guns, rockets, kayaking, fishing, archery, etc.)
Guide and mentor a group of 10–15 youth
Help keep campers safe, engaged, and having FUN
Support overall camp flow and transitions
Whether you can help for the full day or part of it—your time makes a difference.
