The motive force behind our endeavor at Clio’s is fostering conversation about books and ideas. Our community programming continues with the monthly "Award Winners" book club. This month the club will read by Nobel Laureate William Faulkner.
A modernist masterpiece, As I Lay Dying tells of a family's trying journey to bring their late matriarch home. The effort to fulfill this last wish will bring forth the darkness in their hearts and a quiet brutality only barely hidden in that Southern community.
