In A Course in Miracles, the Course itself is described as being a course in mind training. The mind is commonly seen as an enemy or a nuisance. Yet through the Course’s teachings it is taught that the mind isn’t an enemy, it is just being misused and the result is mental, physical and emotional suffering. As is lovingly noted in the Course, this need not be. The main purpose of the Course is to highlight the importance of the mind and its role in healing. Join Fiona in a workshop where you will learn about the importance of your mind, how you are currently misusing your mind against yourself, and how you can refocus your mind so you can claim its vital role in your healing from the chaotic ego identity. Specifically, you will learn about the wrong mind of the ego, its agenda of separation, its “laws” of chaos and how the ego shows up in your thinking so you can begin to recognize it at work and seek to correct these ego thoughts instead of giving in to them. You will also learn about the Right Mind of Spirit and Its healing principles, and you will also learn about the laws which govern your mind according to A Course in Miracles. “The outstanding characteristics of the laws of the mind as they operate in this world is that by obeying them, and I assure you that you must obey them, you can arrive at diametrically opposed results.” T.7.II.2:8
You will also be taught, step by step, the Course’s unique and advanced forgiveness process known as True Forgiveness which is essential to Right-Mindedness. You will be clearly and gently guided through the True Forgiveness process and invited to apply it to a challenge you are facing. By the end of the workshop, you should have a clear understanding of how you have mistakenly fed into your own suffering and given very clear and practical steps from A Course in Miracles on how to stop doing so and correct ego thoughts so you can experience the miracles and healing you deserve. Through your decision for the Right Mind of Spirit, you will heal from the ego’s conflict and suffering, and awaken to your True Identity as a Child of Source.

Fiona is a long-time student of A Course in Miracles and has also been teaching the Course for 15 years. Her work is focused on the Course’s teachings about the mind and how correct use of the mind awakens us to our True Identity as Spirit. Fiona was Vice President of the Life Enhancement Program (a life coaching and hypnosis program) where she worked alongside Dr. Tim Hall (former VP of the Alberta Children’s Hospital) for six years until his passing. After Dr. Hall’s passing, Fiona went on to create her own business focusing on teaching A Course in Miracles through in-person and online classes. Fiona also offers private client sessions helping individuals understand the principles of ACIM and how they can apply the Course’s teachings to their own challenges, and she also offers Intuitive Angel Reading sessions.
In 2016, Fiona published her first children’s book ‘My Mind Book’ which is a secular presentation of the laws of the mind according to A Course in Miracles. ‘My Mind Book’ went on to be cited in the book ‘Anxiety; Calming the Chaos Within’ by Gail Barrett, MA, RCC, and was stated as being an excellent resource for children to learn about their own minds. Fiona has presented the teachings in ‘My Mind Book’ to the faculty of the Alberta Children’s Hospital and has also presented to children at schools around Southern Alberta, Canada. Fiona has also published a second children’s book titled ‘What do I do With a Negative Thought?”. Her first book for adult Course students called ‘Awakening Your Right Mind – Healing from Fear and Following Spirit with A Course in Miracles’ was reviewed by best-selling author Gary Renard (author of the Disappearance of the Universe Trilogy) as offering “…more valuable information about how the mind works than you will find almost anywhere else.”
Fiona’s greatest experience has come from applying the healing principles of A Course in Miracles to her own challenges. Fiona has used the Course’s True Forgiveness process to heal from Meniere’s disease (a disease said to be incurable), and also to heal from Misophonia. She has also used the same principles to support herself through Caregiver’s Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and to heal from an emotionally abusive relationship with a family member.
