Making this retreat truly special, this is the first time that the internationally renowned “Meditation Virtuoso” Delson Armstrong is teaching in Norway. Delson is known for completing the entire Mahamudra path, mastering all levels of Samādhi, being lineage holder of no less than two Kriya Yoga traditions, and even entering nirodha-samāpatti (yogic cessation) for a full, uninterrupted week (!) under neuroscientific study. He has also written five books on Buddhist philosophy and is the most frequent guest on the highly regarded Guru Viking podcast.

By his side as co-teacher will be Victor Way. Victor is initiated into two lineages of Mahamudra, but “holds” neither. He has dual citizenship in Samsara and Nirvana, but – unlike Delson – is not yet a permanent resident of the latter, and his brain was only ever scanned during a half hour Shamatha meditation. He has, however, guided some 30 people into their first nondual awakening and ignited half a dozen Kundalinis in his still-budding teaching career. He is still wrapping up his first book and has appeared on only one, much less regarded, podcast.

About the farm:
Circles of Sound Ecofarm is an ecological permaculture farm and retreat center in the peaceful Norwegian countryside, committed to the deep nourishment of body and soul. The farm is completely self-sustained with homegrown produce half of the year, and the food you will be eating will be sourced, as much as possible, a mere stone’s throw from the dining table. The traditional farmhouse was built in 1848 and features rustic and cozy rooms in the main house and in the barn. It also has its own “fairy walk” down to a placid and secluded river – perfect for bathing – and a traditional Norwegian hot tub that we can use in the evenings.
