About this Event
Awaken The Voice Within: Conversations on Women’s Voices Across Generations
This event convenes women across life stages for thoughtful, grounded conversations on how one’s voice is formed, constrained, and expressed across the course of a woman’s life.
Across families, faith spaces, relationships, workplaces, and communities, women learn, often quietly and over time, where it is safe to speak and where it is wiser to stay silent. These lessons show up in very real ways: in how women navigate their relationships, pursue or restrain ambition, understand their identity, make decisions about money and financial independence, and take responsibility for their own lives.
Often, these patterns are shaped across generations: through what is taught explicitly, what is modeled implicitly, and what is left unspoken. Older women carry wisdom formed through experience, sacrifice, and endurance; younger women bring new questions, tools, and ways of seeing shaped by a changing world. Too often, these differences become points of tension rather than sources of mutual strength.
This event creates space for women of different ages and seasons to engage one another honestly and respectfully — not in competition, and not in hierarchy, but in partnership.
The book ‘Awaken the Voice Within’ serves as an anchoring text for the evening, offering shared language and insight. However, the event itself marks the beginning of a wider movement committed to fostering intergenerational understanding, formation, and collaboration among women as they learn to live, decide, and lead with greater clarity and courage.
