Community Night in Avondale
A Collaborative Gathering with Avondale based NPOs
Join us for a joyful, interactive community night bringing together neighbors, artists, gamers, organizers, and volunteers from across Avondale and beyond. This special evening is a collaboration between Avondale Gardening Alliance Chicago, Gotham Gaming, Avondale Arts, Avondale Mutual Aid, and the Avondale Neighborhood Association, designed to create space for connection, creativity, and civic engagement.
What to Expect
- Interactive gaming activations hosted by Gotham Gaming, featuring casual, welcoming video game play for all experience levels.
- Community collaging & creative tables led by Avondale Arts
- Neighborhood mapping & storytelling activities highlighting Avondale’s people, places, and history. We will also have Gavin Atack, a world renowned esports professional running Geo Guessing onsite.
- Opportunities to connect with local organizations, learn about volunteer opportunities, and get involved in meaningful community work
- A warm, social atmosphere focused on meeting new people and strengthening local connections
This event is free to attend and open to the public. Registration is required so we can plan appropriately for space and activities.
