Join the brilliant Avinash 'Avi' Shashidhara – co-founder of award-winning Pahli Hill Bandra Bhai in London (Jamie's favourite curry spot) and BBC Great British Menu finalist – at Jamie Oliver Catherine St on 14 October for a feast bursting with vibrant Indian flavour.

Admired by Jamie himself, chef Avi has spent the past decade working in some of India and the UK's most esteemed boutique hotels and restaurants, including Claude Bosi's two Michelin-starred Hibiscus and The River Café in London.

Lucky attendees will enjoy a four-course sharing feast that kicks off with street food favourites: Papadi Chaat alongside Mangalore buns and Scottish crab sukkha. Next up, some hot-off-the-grill treats including Orkney scallops in white wine sauce and a gorgeous spiced Shikari kebab with minced venison, duck and partridge.

For the main event, Avi's homestyle chicken curry hits the table with his signature South Indian dal, as well as an autumnal greens thoran: a dry curry made with seasonal vegetables and coconut. Everything will be served on sharing platters, with fragrant saffron pulao and flaky flatbread on the side. And to finish? A warm carrot halwa with vanilla ice cream and toasted pistachios to swoon over.

For an additional £56, guests can enjoy a wine pairing of four glasses – one with each course – carefully curated by our sommelier.

Menus: A welcome drink and a four-course sharing menu. Vegetarians are welcome and several of our dishes are veggie-friendly; however, we can’t offer alternatives to meat dishes due to the complex nature of this one-off menu.

Ticket price: £79 per person, including a welcome drink of Coates & Seely Brut Reserve (English sparkling wine) and a four-course sharing-style menu. For an additional £56, guests can enjoy a wine pairing of four glasses – one with each course – carefully curated by our sommelier.

Service charge: Please note that your ticket price does not include service. A discretionary 12.5% service charge will be added to your final bill along with any additional drinks purchased on the night.

Seating: Tables will be grouped as per booking.

Terms and conditions

Please check your order carefully and correct any errors before you submit to Eventbrite. If the order is not accepted, the supper club has reached capacity, you are under 18 or live outside of the UK. The Jamie Oliver Group will email you using the details you provided when you placed your order.

Payment for additional beverages can be made on the night of the Supper Club via cash or card.

A discretionary 12.5% service charge is added to the bill.

The Jamie Oliver Group has the right to reject any order for any reason.

A ticket holder may send another person in their place as long as you inform [email protected] at least five business days prior to the supper club of that person’s name, allergies, dietary requirements and any other special requirements (for example, access needs).

All bookings must not be resold or passed on for commercial gain. Full T&Cs will be sent upon booking your seat at the supper club.

Filming

On the night, there will be some filming taking place. If you’d like to opt out of this, please notify a member of staff or email [email protected] in advance.

Refund policy

If you need to cancel, we can only offer you a refund if you cancel within 72 hours' notice of the date your ticket is booked for.
