Welcome to the Autumn Wreath Workshop at Bridgehead Woodland Trail!

Join us for a fun-filled day of creativity in the heart of nature at the Woodland Trail in Bridgehead Business Park with local artist, Louis Dorton. Learn how to craft beautiful autumnal wreaths with local natural materials that we find in the woods. We will begin with the brightly coloured stems of dogwood and willow, and add leaves, pine cones, berries, and other treasures foraged from the woodland walk. We will also take a tour with Andrew Gibson from the Yorkshire Wildlife trust, and see how the wild inhabitants of the woods are doing as we head into the colder months.

This hands-on workshop is perfect for children to come and unleash your creativity while enjoying the serene surroundings of the woodland trail. Andrew Gibson, from the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust will also be at the workshop to provide information around how the wild inhabitants of the woods are doing as we head into the colder months and will provide a tour around the woodlands.

Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to connect with nature and learn a new skill!

Please bring anything from your garden and surroundings to add to the wreaths, such as seed heads, long grasses, feathers and cones and wear suitable clothing and footwear for the woodland.

PLEASE NOTE ALL ADULTS AND CHILDREN MUST HAVE A TICKET FOR THE WORKSHOP. All children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the workshop.
