Autumn Equinox marks the end of summer and beginning of fall. It represents the shifting of energies, the pause between the lighter half and darker half of the year and the balance between night and day. It is a time of reflection, gratitude, and going inward. How can you look at the start of this season differently? Can you shift your intentions towards the warm, inviting energies of autumn and find space and time for yourself?

This is the perfect time to return to self, reflect and nurture your soul. Join us for a yoga Nidra meditation inspired by this beautifully renewing time of year, followed by a sound bath intended to help you slow down, go inward and balance your mind, body and spirit, led by Sam B.

A sound bath is like “bathing in sound waves”. The waves are produced by various tools such as crystal bowls, drums, chimes, etc. Sound is a beautiful energy medicine that can deepen relaxation and promote physical and emotional healing.

Bring a yoga mat. Wear comfortable clothing. Each student will receive a card of intention they pull from a deck and a crystal.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Sam is a yoga teacher, Reiki master and IET 1 practitioner with a bachelors degree in psychology. After a back injury and a life changing trip to Bali, she realized that the mind-body connection was exactly what she needed to begin healing from the pain and grief that was holding her back in life. This healing journey led her to completing her 200 hour yoga teacher training in 2018. Sam loves to teach all levels vinyasa, slow flow, and Yoga Nidra meditation. Her intention is to create a safe environment for you to be comfortable just as you are, so that you feel free to express yourself through movement, breath and/or emotion. In her classes you can expect breathwork, mindful movement, visualization and a blissful savasana.
