CONCERT ON NOVEMBER 22nd "The Gift of Music" 7pm - 9pmSt Cecilia is the Patron Saint of music, so what better way to celebrate "the gift of music" and the North Yorkshire Music Therapy Centre, than a concert on November 22nd, St Cecilia's festival day!
Performing in the lovely venue of St Chadβs Church in York will be the Giocoso Wind Quartet playing joyful music for flute , oboe, clarinet and bassoon. Helen Odell-Miller OBE, emeritus professor of Music Therapy and a Patron of the charity will be singing Schubert's Shepherd on the Rock as well as speaking about music therapy and the work of the charity.
Alison Barrington, another music therapist, will be performing on flute, and the programme contains music for different combinations of the wind instruments and piano.
Do join us for an uplifting evening of music to brighten a November evening and support the North Yorkshire Music Therapy Centre. The Concert is free entry and donations to The North Yorkshire Music Therapy Centre are welcome.
