Two half days of camp introducing the art of Automotive Refinishing.
Open to rising 7th through 9th graders
Do you like cars? Would you want to learn how to properly paint (ART) a car? Students will explore the many phases and processes in refinishing a car. This hands-on camp will allow students to build out and finish a camp-provided pinewood derby car. This camp will culminate in a ceremony with the students racing their cars, sharing a pizza dinner and presentation of certificates.
Students will be responsible for their lunch, drinks, and snacks throughout the day. Please bring a refillable water bottle with a lid each day.
Dress Code: Students must wear long pants; a shirt/ top with sleeves; and closed-toe/ heel shoes (like tennis shoes) no flip flops or sandals.
