Join us for the My Housing Voice Session, where we’ll come together to explore how people with autism and intellectual/developmental disabilities (A/I/DD) can live well in their communities. Our target audience is caregivers, advocates, supporters, and/or family members of those with A/I/DD and self-advocates who would like to be involved. You do not need to be looking for housing to participate. The session includes a light boxed meal (pre-registration is required for dietary needs) and is broken into two parts. First, participants learn about different housing models, features, and supports that can help adults with A/I/DD live successfully in the community. Second, participants complete a detailed survey to share their housing preferences.
Whether you’re just starting to think about housing or already navigating the system, your voice matters. There will also be time for questions and connection with others who care about inclusive housing. Please bring a tablet, iPad, laptop or smartphone for the survey, if you can.
Share your housing goals and help unlock more living options for people with A/I/DD in Wisconsin.
