Authors in April is an annual literary fundraiser supporting the LSUS Pioneer Heritage Center, bringing celebrated authors to Shreveport for engaging conversations about history, culture, and storytelling.This year’s featured author is Eliot Stein, award-winning journalist and BBC editor, who will discuss his acclaimed book "Custodians of Wonder." Inspired by his global reporting, Stein’s work explores the last people keeping ancient customs and traditions alive, and why preserving these stories matters now more than ever.
