A Long Walk Down a Winding Road Summary
A Long Walk Down a Winding Road - Small Steps, Challenges, & Triumphs Through an Autistic Lens is borne from the unique perspective of a late-identified autistic adult. Interwoven with true stories of personal hardships and triumphs, it offers ideas and insights as to how the reader may enhance quality of life in the face of challenge and adversity. It also describes what it feels like to be autistic and not know it until age 40, as told by somebody who actually walks in these shoes. In these regards, it is a memoir and a self-help book rolled into one.
